Having heard and read "sooo"much great reviews about H&E gel liners, I decided to purchase them and try them out. Hegai & Esther is an indigenous makeup solutions company that deals on makeup tools such as: disposables, makeup cases, chairs, apparel, brushes, books/dvds etc and of course their own brand of gel liners.
I contacted Hegai & Esther and ordered for three(3) shades of their gel liners in Peacock, Nubia and Onyx. Being a Lagos based company, I was skeptical initially if and how they will deliver to Port Harcourt. Upon inquiry, I got a reply in the affirmative. Hegai & Esther offers nationwide delivery for a little token. The package arrived in good condition and on time too.

H&E gel liners come in a sturdy 5g glass jar typical of modern gel liners with a black lid which has the company name on it. Given the portable size of the glass jar, it is safe to say they are travel friendly. The addition of a liner brush is also thoughtful and a bonus. However, I personally will be applying with my good, old long- handled liner brush (yes I'm attached to my brushes like that *wink wink*)

These liners have a cream-gel texture and are highly pigmented. A little goes a long way so you have to be light handed when applying. The colours are buildable though, but you need to work fast. As with most good waterproof gel liners, once they dry off, they don't budge.

Peacock is a gorgeous turquoise shade. Nubia is a dark brown shade while Onyx is a jet black liner.
All shades are wearable on their own or can be worn over your favourite eye shadow. For the purpose of this review, I wore the gel liners alone, so you can see how pigmented the gel liners are.

These gel liners do exactly what they say, they are waterproof. This makes it ideal for brides, rainy days or long wear. I had a hard time taking them off with just water, I had to use a makeup remover. As with all gel products, the lid of the gel pot should be tightly screwed on, when not in use, so the product won't dry out.
Would I repurchase?
Definitely! Good a thing, it will last several months because a little goes a looong way so its worth the

Stay beautie-ful and radiant,
Do u know, it's funny but I've never used any other eyeliner color on my eyes ....... Just black, always black. I'll love to try onyx though.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate because I used to be that way, always using black eyeliner as it complements any look. But i decided to become more daring and try other colours. Do try Onyx, you'll love it. Thanks for stopping by dear, I appreciate.
